During Term 3 we will be participating in the Cows Create Careers program. This is program is run by the Dairy Industry and involves looking after two calves for a period of three weeks. During this time the students, who work in co-operative groups, are responsible for the feeding and general well being of the calves. Growth data is recorded and this is used to complete a variety of tasks back in the classroom. Students are also introduced to the careers paths within the Dairy Industry. The completed projects are sent in to be judged by a panel of judges from the Industry. Teams who achieve the highest scores are invited to attend a regional day where prizes are awarded for the quality of the project and teamwork. In the past, students from Corryong College have take out major regional prizes.
